We provide the Experience; You supply the Knowledge.

Volunteer Today!

Backed by industry and academia, the Baja SAE Series aims to provide real world experience to young engineers bridging the gap as they enter the workforce. As in real work environments, student engineers work together as a team to discover and resolve technical challenges in vehicle design, testing, and manufacturing. The most rugged of all the SAE Collegiate Design Series competitions, Baja SAE competition challenges engineering students to design and build an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain. Each team's goal is to design and build a prototype of an all-weather, rugged, single-seat, off-road recreational vehicle ready to compete not just on track but in design and business events judged by industry.

As a Baja SAE Volunteer, your time and talent will add value to our competition. Come enjoy everything the competition has to offer by helping the teams (thousands of students) directly.

For the 2022 competition season, Baja SAE looks forward to returning to hosting three competitions. This year will host two competitions in the spring and one in the fall.
Business presentation will continue to operate in virtual landscape.
